New Client Services

Priced by the hour and stylist experience

  • New Client Haircut|$60-100

    New client haircut appointments allow ample time for consultation, shampoo, cut and style.

    60 minutes

  • New Client Curly Haircut|$90-150

    For all new clients ranging from wavy to curly who wear their hair in it’s natural state 75% of the time or more(or those who want to). Includes consultation, dry cut, detox shampoo and curl set as well as moisture balancing.

    90 minutes

  • New Client Color Session|$150-250

    A 2-hour session for any new client. A color consultation form will be sent prior to scheduled appointment time. Does not include a haircut.

  • Complimentary Consultation

    An in-salon appointment to better assess your needs, get to know your stylist, or ask any additional questions you may have before booking.

    30 minutes

  • New Client Scalp Facial|$75-150

    This is a stand-alone service and includes a simple blow dry style or curl set.

    A luxury hair experience. After a thorough scalp analysis, we apply CBD salve to your pressure points. Your hair and scalp will get an intensive steam detoxifying treatment and moisture balance all while receiving a full neck and scalp massage (with oils specifically curated for your scalp). You will leave feeling like you just stepped out of the spa, with a scalp that feels refreshed and renewed.

    90 minutes

  • Curly Education|$50-100

    Not ready for a haircut, but eager to learn how to style your curls? This is the service for you! We’ll walk you through the entire process from shampoo to styling with product and technique recommendations for your specific hair type. This service includes a shampoo and curl set. This service is also perfect for parents needing to learn how to care for their child’s curly hair. Min age 6yo.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

REMINDER

Much like your confirmation email, you’ll receive a reminder email 3 days before your scheduled appointment. If you need to reschedule at that time you can do so by clicking the “Book Now” button or by simply replying to the email. Please note that we do require 24 hours notice for all cancellations/reschedules.

PRE-VISIT QUESTIONNAIRE

We want to give you the best experience possible! Within your reminder email you will receive a link to fill out our New Client preferences form. Please take a few minutes to fill it out so we can cater your service to your specific needs.

WHERE TO GO

The Organic Salon is located on the corner of Westport Rd and Wyoming Street in a black brick building with a corner door.

PARKING

There is usually ample street parking on either street directly outside of our front door. Additionally, there is a shared lot behind the building as well. All parking is free of charge.

WHEN TO ARRIVE

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to give yourself time to park. There is usually plenty of parking, but during peak dinner/bar times it can get a bit congested.

WHAT TO BRING

  • CREDIT/DEBIT CARD- We are completely CASHLESS with the exception of tipping your stylist directly. If you don’t want to bring your card we can charge your card on file or you can Venmo!

  • THINGS TO DO- Feel free to bring your work with you or your phone/tablet as we no longer offer magazines.

  • INSPIRATION- Inspiration pictures allow us to have a jumping off point to lead you in the right direction with your color/style and allows us to see what your preferences are.

Consultation

The first thing we do once you settle in is get all the details. Besides the obvious question of what you want your hair to look like, we’ll also ask what products and tools you use, when was the last time your hair was done, how often do you shampoo, etc. There are many more, but just know that we are thorough! Ask all the questions you need -that’s what we’re here for!

The Experience

All appointments start with a relaxing shampoo. If you’re having color done you may get two, but rest assured it’s all part of the process. Most of our color appointments will also get the privilege of wearing our fancy thermal cap for processing. It is it’s own look, but helps to maintain the integrity of the hair as well as keep our energy use down.

Drinks and snacks will be available during waiting/processing.

Before you go

Every appointment will end with full styling based on your cut and texture, whether it’s a blow out or a hand-styled look. We will give full instruction and product recommendations during the styling process.
